A Margarita is our favorite cocktail for Cinco de Mayo! Of course it’s not the most calorie friendly beverage. However, fresh watermelon is a lower calorie fresh fruit margarita. Plus, we can make a batch in less than 10 minutes if you freeze the watermelon chunks ahead of time. We love our margaritas with Patron and here's exactly how to make it (soooo simple)...
Here’s how we made it mostly following this recipe below:
16 oz seedless watermelon
1 Lime (squeeze into blender)
6 oz tequila (Sauza)
3 oz Orange Liquor (Patron)
(Sugar or salt for the rim)
Add everything in the blender with ice to the top & mix. If it’s not strong enough, add more tequila.
These are tasty, so if you have to work tomorrow, take it easy and drink a tall glass of water before you hit the hay on your Savvy Sleepers. hehe
