Seattle's First Blow-Dry Bar - Swink Style Bar

The first blow-dry bar in Seattle, Swink Style Bar, is definitely worth a visit. I stopped by last week while in downtown for business and enjoyed a classic blowout.
They mainly use Moroccan Oil and Aveda, and can tailor the products to you based on your hair type. Since my hair is pretty curly and wild when untamed, she used a conditioner and leave in product for frizz. The result after about 45min was a gorgeous, smooth style, with slight curl at the ends. Tiara, my Seattle-raised stylist, is experienced and friendly!
The best part was that my hair maintained the blowout for 3 days, with light dry shampoo at the roots ...plus it even made it through a crazy rainstorm with just a hood on! At night, I sleep on my Nappuccino Savvy Sleepers satin pillowcase and put my hair in a low ponytail with a creaseless hair tie.
I was very impressed with Swink. The stylists know what they are doing and make you feel special.

P.S. They were preparing for Obama's Seattle visit for a fundraising event at The Westin hotel. I snapped a photo of them shutting the roads down with buses. Pretty neat to be around all the police and K-9 units!
