The Pantone Color of the Year Surprise for 2016!

We always look forward to the day Pantone announces its 'Color of the Year,' what about you? This year was no exception and it was also a HUGE surprise because unlike 2015 - hello Marsala - there are 2 colors chosen for 2016! As you can see above, the two shades by Pantone are Rose Quartz and Serenity. (pic above via Pantone)

These beautiful pastels that will look gorgeous and fresh on you this spring, but they're also calming in the bedroom. The light airy shades have us ready for a power nap already. Check out Heather of StyleMindChic where we first read about the Pantone announcement and she's already discovered the handbags and must-have fashion items in both Serenity and Rose Quartz.

But it's the description on the site that had us swooning for these 2 special shades. According to Pantone.com...
