Slumber Party Diary! Our First International Beauty Trade Show in Las Vegas

 

We are pleased to announce Savvy Sleepers attended its first trade show in Las Vegas June 25-27th. The International Beauty Show is held in Las Vegas and New York each year. With over 300 beauty brands and 20,000+ attendees, we were definitely feeling the pressure. Here's a quick diary of our three days on the trade show floor in Las Vegas.

 

Hair extension alert! Remember when women used to try to hide the fact they wore extensions? We're so glad that beauty taboo is gone. There were so many gorgeous extensions. Plus 100+ free classes and in-depth Hands-on Workshops and Master Classes 'designed each year to help sharpen talents and hone techniques,' according to IBS.

Tradeshows are exhausting and by the end of the 9 hour days on the floor, we were ready for a nap and a foot massage.

 

We prepped our booth every day before the start of the trades how when thousands of men and women would pass through and stop by to chat. Overall it was a great weekend and we made great connections and can't wait for more trade shows in the future.
