How to Get into the Luxe World of Airport Lounges!

in Jun 4, 2015

Did you know there are secret luxurious lounges in almost every airport where you can feel pampered like a celebrity before your next big flight? If it seems like a travel expense not worth funding, there's a few secrets to get instant access without needing to fly a crazy amount of days like George Clooney in 'Up in the Air.' Introducing the new American Express Centurion Lounge in Miami and how to get in to these lounges all over the country...
Last night American Express celebrated the opening of The Centurion Lounge at Miami International Airport with special guest Emmy Rossum.

Here's How to Get In!

Access to the Centurion Lounge network is exclusive to American Express Card Members, and a key complimentary benefit for Platinum Card Members as part of a suite of benefits that make travel more seamless. The lounge includes complimentary:

  • World-class food from local James Beard award-winning Chef Michelle Bernstein
  • Beverages from renowned Mixologist Jim Meehan
  • Spa treatments from exhale® spa, including massages and manicures
  • Dedicated work spaces with high-speed wifi and plenty of power outlets
  • Cozy semi-private nooks
  • Soundproof kids play area

Or Here's Another Way...
Entry to The Centurion Lounges is complimentary for consumer, Business and Corporate Platinum Card and Centurion® Members, and their immediate family or up to two travel companions. Other American Express Credit and Charge Card Members may purchase a one-day pass at The Centurion Lounge for $50 which we think is worth it for the Wifi, comfort, food, and complimentary cocktails during a long layover. Think about how much you spend at the food court and charging your phone on the floor in the corner of the terminal and suddenly the lounge starts sounding sooo much better.
New Cities!
The new lounge in MIA joins locations in Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS), Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and New York's LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Special thanks to American Express for these photos.
