Weekend Slumber Party with Savvy Sleepers in Tahoe (and Baby)!

This pic was snapped a few months ago in the mountains in Northern California. Messy hair, shades on to hide my tired eyes in my husband's sweatshirt, with my youngest daughter, Henrietta, in her Minnie Mouse outfit meant for a Fall Disneyland trip (cancelled of course).  

Yet, cuddling her early that Saturday morning sipping a Tumeric Ginger latte in the crisp mountain air and watching the sunrise was one of the best memories I've had all year. While the past 8 months have been a struggle for so many with stress inducing moments around every corner, there have been ingredients I've added to keep the calm in my daily routine.   A RECIPE FOR DAILY CALM

Ingredients: Walks, Rocks & Lattes

While we were up in the mountains (with bad wifi) my daughters discovered a rock garden. When we got back to Dallas, I bought some metallic paint and they spent the afternoon painting rocks. Daily walks whether you can go alone or with a friend add a surge of energy, even bundled up as winter approaches.

 I've also tried to boost my immune system sipping tea or a daily Tumeric Latte which instantly warms your entire body after you take a sip.
